Phenomenon of Super Blood Wolf Moon and Lunar Eclipse 2019

Witnessed across the globe, the Super Blood Wolf Moon of tonight is slated to be a unique event with a total lunar eclipse, first of the year 2019 thrown in for special effects. Full moons and lunar eclipses are powerful forces in astrology in general, but tonight’s amazing moon will magnify the effects more than usual. This unique moon with such intensity will also not be seen for the next 18 years. Regardless of whether you actually get a chance to see this lunar event, you will most likely feel its effects.

So what is it…?

A Super Moon is referred to as such since the moon is passing at the closest point of its orbit to Earth making it appear especially large in size. The first Full Moon of the year is named after wolves since they love to howl at the huge moon in the deep wintry night. Blood moon refers to the reddish hue that the earth’s shadow casts on the moon as it transits between the moon and the sun, briefly coloring the moon red during a lunar eclipse. Nowhere as spooky as it sounds, a Super Wolf Blood moon is nevertheless a powerful, transformative time.

What are the impacts…?

Not withstanding which month you were in born in, this moon’s energy may feel stronger than usual to you. This is a time of deep energetic shift and transformation and time for deep reflective thinking. As a new lunar cycle begins, it’s a good time to contemplate what things — ideas, habits, practices — you may wish to leave behind, and what you want to bring into your life and build upon for the years to come.

In essence it’s the best time for letting go of the bad and non serving, and setting intentions and manifestations for the good. We may also find ourselves at the cusp of a new journey or path, with renewed energy, confidence and positivity. While there may still be challenges in your life, this is a good time to re-evaluate what’s serving us, and what’s no longer useful. It’s a time to embrace the newness, the journey…and make 2019 your best year so far!
